Nova is still rolling out. If you don’t see the panel described below, it
isn’t switched on for your workspace yet. Ask your Typewise contact.
Nova is not the AI Agent
Typewise runs two different AI systems. Keeping them apart makes everything else easier to follow.
Nova never replies to a customer. It changes the configuration the AI Agent
works from, which means a change Nova makes only reaches customers once you
publish it.
Open Nova
Click the floating button in the bottom-right corner of the platform. The panel opens on the right and follows you from page to page, so you can keep a request going while you navigate.- Resize it by dragging its left edge.
- Close it with the close icon in the panel header.
Nova is desktop only. The panel stays hidden on mobile, where it would cover
the ticket composer.
Ask for your first change
The composer at the bottom of the panel reads Ask Nova…. Type a request in plain language and press Enter. You don’t need to know which page or field to use.1
Describe what you want
For example: “Create a Specialist that handles billing and invoice
questions.” Be specific about the outcome, not the clicks.

Answer Nova's questions
When there’s a decision to make, Nova offers clickable options. Pick one, or
ignore them and type your own answer instead.
3
Watch it work
Nova shows each step as it goes and links to whatever it touched, so you can
open the Specialist and read it yourself.

Review and publish
Nova’s changes are drafts. Open Review in the Unpublished changes
bar, check the diff, and publish. See Reviewing and publishing Nova’s
changes.
