Integrations connect Typewise to third-party systems (like your helpdesk, CRM, or shipping provider). They let the AI access the right context and interact with those systems in a controlled way. You can manage your integrations in the Integrations section.

What integrations are used for

Integrations can power three things:
  • Knowledge Bases: Import help center content so the AI can reference it when replying. See Zendesk or Salesforce.
  • Lookups: Fetch up-to-date data during a conversation (for example, customer, order, or ticket details). See Lookups.
  • Actions: Let the AI perform tasks in your systems (for example, update a record or trigger a workflow). See Actions.

Why integrations matter for LLMs

LLMs are good at reasoning and writing, but they don’t automatically have access to your systems or real-time data. Integrations give the AI safe, permissioned access to read and act, so it can answer with the right context and execute approved workflows.
